Photos on the Net
Our
photos are taken with a standard digital camera under
normal lighting. The photos are not enhanced to make
the opal look better than it really is. To the contrary,
a photo can only capture the opal from one angle and
often does not depict the full beauty, as opal is a
living, vibrant gem which flashes different colours
and patterns when moved around.
Tax
Exempt Prices
Our
prices are shown in U.S. dollars exclusive of Australian
Tax (GST). No GST tax is payable for goods exported
outside of Australia. For Australian customers the 10%
GST will be added to the price.
Payment
Methods and Privacy Policy
We
have made ordering and payment as secure and easy as
you could wish. Feel secure to provide your order and
credit card details on our secure 128 bit SSL (Secure
Socket Layer) encryption system OR for those of you
who still cannot be convinced of the security of the
internet, please fax, e-mail, or mail your order and
credit card details to us OR phone your order through
to our wholesale sales outlet. Please refer to our

Any
information you provide to us at this site or via fax,
phone etc. is not disclosed to any other party for any
reason. We respect and protect your privacy.
International
Deliveries
All
items sent overseas are forwarded by International Air
Post or EMS Speed Post and are insured for the full
purchase price. Most goods are sent within 24 hours
of ordering and you should allow 7 - 10 working days
for postage to most countries and about 3 - 5 days for
EMS Speed Post. As you pay for goods prior to
delivery, the insurance is in your own interests.
Australian
Deliveries
Goods
delivered within Australia are by Express Post and are
insured for the full purchase price.
Our
Returns Policy
We
understand that there is only so much you can appreciate
from a product when viewing it on a computer screen.
We therefore respect everyone's right to return goods
which may not be as expected. You can therefore return
goods within 30 days from the date of the accompanying
invoice and receive a refund, excluding shipping and
insurance costs. We only require that the product be
returned in original condition together with the accompanying
invoice and International Guarantee Certificate, and
in the case of earrings, that they not be worn.
If
you paid by credit card the refund will be made by crediting
your card in Australian dollars as that is the currency
used in the Australian banking system. If you paid by
any other method we can process the refund by sending
you a cheque, or by telegraphic transfer of funds to
your bank etc. We are quite flexible and we'll do our
best to help you in whichever method is convenient.
Our
Complaints Policy
Should
you have any complaint about our products or service,
please contact us by e-mail, fax or phone (supplying
us with your fax or e-mail details preferably). The
owners of this company monitor service and other management
issues very closely and we will contact you within one
business day and endeavour to resolve any problem you
may have.
Should
you feel the problem has not been resolved you have
very powerful consumer rights under the South Australian
Consumer Transaction Act 1972, which governs how we
and other South Australian companies do business. The
Department of Public and Consumer Affairs is the Government
Agency responsible.
